Academics
At SAA , academics always come first. This is also the case if you join our online academy. You will meet in our scheduled online classroom every day to work on your academics.
Courses will be taken through Ogburn Online Private School but in an online classroom.
For parents this takes the guess work out of online schooling as we take on the responsibility to make sure your child learns and keeps up with the work.
Basketball
Each student will have daily basketball work outs to attend in our online gym. The work outs are developed for home training.
You will need a cleared space for the work-outs but all training are developed so they can be done indoors and without a court or hoop.
Fitness
The online fitness classes follow the same design as the basketball classes, you will have to have a cleared space but the exercises can be done indoors and in an apartment if need be.
For the spring semester we will try to have our speed classes outside but will work with the students who don’t have outdoor space to utilize.
‘More than an Athlete’
All students will take our 4 step ‘More than an Athlete’ course. The course is specifically developed for middle school basketball players. It covers things like nutrition, social media use, NCAA eligibility, high school preparation, basketball careers, branding , entrepreneurship , financing , accounting ,and a lot more.
High School Placement
This is the athletic side of our High School Preparation. On commitment we will set a virtual meeting with the family to establish goals and start making a list of schools of interest where the student can thrive academically as well as contribute to the team.
In addition we also have High School academic prep built into our curriculum.

Reclassing
As an SAA Online the option to reclass is there. We have a formula to make the best out of your reclass year when it comes to academics.

The SAA Online tuition for 2020-2021 is
