Student Athlete Girls Academy is the first basketball academy in the country dedicated to young women.
Empowering Young Women
During the years of the Student Athlete Academy it has been clear that there is a need for a pure girls academy where the young women’s whole being is in focus.

Recovery Day
Full Academic schedule (per grade)
Women Empowerment Program
The Academy is for serious basketball players grades 7, 8 & 8th grade reclass.
Jayon James
Director of Girls Basketball
Jayon James is a dedicated mentor who’s utilizing his strong athletic background, coaching skills and dedication to shape the youth’s development. Well known in the tri-state area as a Middle School and High School Phenom. Graduated from Nationally ranked powerhouse Paterson Catholic high school. Went on to play his college ball at Iona College and finished at the University of Louisiana-Monroe. After some successful seasons James was granted the opportunity to play professionally overseas. He flourished in European countries such as France, Montenegro, Ukraine, Czech Republic and Luxembourg. James also has experience in the coaching and training fields. Assisting with various basketball programs during the summer and building relationships with the next generation of athletes. He was also an assistant coach at Immaculate Conception-Lodi.

We envision our young women as future CEOs & business owners who happen to love basketball and using basketball as a vehicle to their empowerment.
Equality is high on our vision board and our pm educates our young women on how & why this is important as well as help them with an understanding of their own roll in achiving this.
